To start a claim for a Funeral Payment, you’ll need to download and fill out Form SF200, which can be found on the official government website here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/funeral payment-claim-form . You must make sure you submit your claim within a six-month period, even if you’re awaiting a decision on a qualifying benefit. It’s also important to note that only invoices, not estimates, will be accepted for claims made before the funeral.
